Art, it comes in many forms, shapes, sizes, and such. Louis Armstrong's song What A Wonderful World said it all. There are skies of blue, clouds of white, bright blessed days, and dark sacred nights, the world truly is wonderful. Two, related, forms of art are seascape art and nautical art.
Seascape art is born when an artist, inspirsed by the sea and all its wonders creates his or her own miniturized version of it, on canvas or print. There is just something about the sea that calls man to it, luring man into the great unknown, granting the feeling of peace, and humility, as well as a bunch of other feelings. Most depictions of the sea make known its power and yet at the same time its own unique humility. Seascape art is the depiction of the sea, and the things associated with it, like the beach, the cloudless sky, and the like, but always with the theme of the sea somewhere prominently in it.
